Ajloun Cable Car

تلفريك عجلون

A 2.5 km glide over the forest from beside the castle

Jordan’s first cable car opened in June 2023. Eight-seat cabins run 2.5 km each way between the main station near Ajloun Castle and Eshtafina, with the round trip taking about 20 minutes.

The Teleferic was developed under the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group, with 40 cabins built by Doppelmayr/Garaventa. From the main station you float over oak and pine valleys with the castle behind you.

The operator also runs seasonal events, a children’s play area and guided walking trails in the surrounding hills.

Why visit
